Beach casting<\/strong><\/p>\n

The long gloriously sandy beach just  5 minutes walk from Kingfishers provides  ample opportunity to fish directly into the Atlantic Ocean. Many species are caught here including Lady fish, Captain fish, Silver Tuna, Butter fish and even Stingray.<\/p>\n

 We charge 500 Dalasi per day, per rod. If you are a first time fisherman\/woman Clinton is available to give FREE tuition to get you started. Likewise, if you are a seasoned beach casting veteran he will take you to various fishing hot spots where you can try your luck !!<\/p>\n

Tuition includes practice casting on the school playing field so that you know that you can at least get a hook out into the surf !!<\/p>\n

 Bait costs \u00a32.00 if we supply. Why not use our BBQ to cook your catch, charcoal supplied for a very small fee.<\/p>\n

Join us on a lazy day cruise along one of the Balongs of the River Gambia. We arrange your trip from start to finish. We start the day with a 9.30 pickup from Kingfishers and just a short 30 minute ride down to Denton Bridge where our privately hired traditional pirogue awaits.<\/p>\n

Once under way you will enjoy the peaceful and beautiful Gambian river life and scenery. You will see mangroves, oyster beds and wild birds as well as the locals harvesting fish, crabs and oysters.<\/p>\n

Great fun for the experienced and also budding fishermen and women. If that doesn’t float your boat, relax, kick of your flip flops, lay back and enjoy the the sunshine or take a cool drink under the canopy on the top deck.<\/p>\n

6 chilled hours later and we’re heading back to Denton Bridge. Then its back home to barbecue your catch of the day. All this and more for less than the cost of an English League football match ticket !!!<\/p>\n

A road trip along Gambia’s South Bank Road takes us through traditional Gambian villages, giving you a glimpse into simple daily village life<\/p>\n

.An hour and a half later. far from the Tourist areas you will arrive at this wonderful hidden gem of a lodge, nestled on the river bank.<\/p>\n

We accompany you to this peaceful and rustic one night stopover where your home for the night will be in one of their stilted lodges. Relax on the wooden deck taking in the flowing Bolong and lush greenery of mangroves surrounding you. But also another opportunity to fish and catch Catfish, Butterfish and Groupers to name but a few.<\/p>\n

Here you can watch the sunrise over the river in the morning and see and listen to the local ladies sing as they they row their canoes out into the river to collect oysters or crabs.<\/p>\n
